All bookings are by inquiry only and subject to availability.

• A completed inquiry form is required to begin the booking process.

• Once your project details are received, you will be provided with a customized rate tailored to your scope of work.

• Clients are expected to provide full project details, including shoot location, time, and any supporting call sheets or mood boards at the time of booking.

Securing Your Date

All projects are custom quoted and billed based on scope.

• No date is held until the full retainer (equal to your quoted rate) is paid. This retainer serves as both a booking deposit and service fee and ensures your requested date and time are reserved. The retainer must be paid within 48 hours of receiving your invoice, or the date will be released.

• Jay Mumu Beauty does not hold dates without a paid retainer.

Reschedules & Cancellations

Due to the nature of on-location commercial work, clear notice is required.

• All payments and retainers are final and nonrefundable. Because services are reserved exclusively for each client, Jay Mumu Beauty does not offer refunds, or credit transfers for cancellations or changes.

• If the client cancels or changes their project, payments will not be returned. Clients may request a one-time reschedule within 14–30 days of the original date (subject to availability). After this period, a new booking and retainer will be required.

• In the rare event Jay Mumu Beauty must cancel, a full refund will be issued, or the client may reschedule at no additional cost.

No-Show or Last-Minute Changes

Timeliness and clarity are essential to maintain quality of service.

• Failure to provide location access or project details by the day of service will result in cancellation without refund.

• Changes to the scope or team on set (e.g. adding models, switching concepts) must be communicated and approved in advance.

Professional Standard

By confirming a booking, you agree to all terms outlined in this section.

• Booking with Jay Mumu Beauty reserves exclusive time for your production, ensuring focus, preparation, and execution at a professional level.

Jay Mumu Beauty provides luxury, on-location makeup services throughout the DFW area.

On-Location

• Clients must ensure there is a clean, flat workspace with a nearby outlet available. If these accommodations are not available upon arrival, service delays may occur. It is the responsibility of the client or booking party to ensure these requirements are communicated to the on-site team ahead of time.

• I provide my own chair and lighting to ensure a professional setup.

Travel Radius & Fees

Jay Mumu Beauty is based in Irving, Texas (ZIP Code 75061) and services the greater Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. A complimentary travel radius of 25 miles is included with every booking.

Extended Travel

Travel beyond the 25-mile radius is calculated as follows:

• $2 per mile (roundtrip) outside of the 25-mile complimentary radius. For projects requiring extended travel, a flat out-of-area fee will be quoted at the time of booking.

• Travel fees will be included in your quote after your inquiry is reviewed, and your project location is confirmed.

Destination Projects

For out-of-state or international bookings, clients are responsible for:

• Roundtrip airfare (business class preferred for long-haul flights)

• Ground transportation (car service or equivalent)

• Hotel accommodations at a 5-star property near the project venue

• Per diem for meals, if applicable

A custom destination rate will be provided based on the scope of the project.

Location Changes

Any changes to the service location after your booking is confirmed must be submitted in writing via email to bookings@jaymumubeauty.com and are subject to availability. If the new location falls outside the approved travel radius or affects the agreed-upon setup time, an updated quote and travel fee will be issued.

On-Location Expectations, Travel & Hygiene

Professionalism, hygiene, and respect are non-negotiables. To maintain a high-standard environment:

Hygiene & Skin Conditions
All tools and products are sanitized before and after each session. If you’re experiencing any contagious conditions (e.g., cold sores, pink eye, open wounds), please reschedule. Service may be declined if a condition is present and undisclosed at the time of booking.

Photography & Media Use
Behind-the-scenes content will be captured for marketing and portfolio use. If your project is under NDA or embargo, this must be disclosed in advance.

Code of Conduct & Studio Expectations

At Jay Mumu Beauty, we foster a calm, collaborative environment where everyone can do their best work. To support a seamless experience:

Professional Behavior Is Expected
Clients, models, and team members are expected to maintain respectful, professional conduct throughout the session. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of service without refund.

Punctuality Matters
All sessions are booked with a set prep window. Please arrive on time and ready. Late arrivals may impact the final outcome and will not extend service time.

Studio Setup Requirements
A clean, well-lit, and quiet space is required for on-location setups. A flat surface or table and nearby power outlet must be available upon arrival.

Team Etiquette
If you’re working with a production crew (photographer, stylist, etc.), please ensure everyone is aligned on timing, expectations, and studio flow.

1. Do you travel outside of the Dallas–Fort Worth area?
Yes. Jay Mumu Beauty is based in the Irving, Tx but is available for travel across Texas and out of state. Travel fees apply for bookings outside a 25-mile round-trip radius. All travel-related expenses will be included in your custom quote.

2. How do I book makeup services?
All bookings begin with an inquiry form. Select the service type, fill out the required details, and submit. You’ll receive a tailored quote based on your project scope, travel needs, and availability. Booking is secured once the retainer is received and contract signed.

3. Is a deposit required to hold my date?
Yes. To secure your booking, a non-refundable retainer equal to the full quoted rate is required. Your date and time are not reserved until this retainer has been received.

4. Can you accommodate multiple looks or on-site touchups?
Yes. Please specify the number of looks and whether on-site touchups are needed in your inquiry form. These will be factored into your custom quote.

5. Do you offer hair or styling services?
No. Jay Mumu Beauty exclusively provides professional makeup artistry. However, if your team includes a hairstylist or wardrobe stylist, we’re happy to coordinate with them to ensure a cohesive execution.

6. What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
All payments are non-refundable. However, if you need to reschedule, your booking may be transferred to a new date within 14–30 days of the original appointment, subject to availability. Cancellations outside of this rescheduling window will result in forfeiture of your payment.
