  • Inquiry & Quoting

    All projects are accepted by inquiry only and are subject to availability.

    • A completed project inquiry is required to initiate booking.

    • Once your project details are reviewed, a custom quote is issued based on scope, timeline, and production needs.

    • Clients are expected to provide full project details at the time of inquiry, including shoot location, duration, team size and any supporting call sheets or mood boards.

    This insures accurate quoting and efficient production planning.

    Securing Your Date

    All projects are custom-quoted and billed based on scope.

    • Dates are not held until the full retainer (equal to your quoted rate) is paid.

    • The retainer functions as both a booking deposit and service fee, reserving the agreed date and time.

    • Invoices must be paid within 48 hours of issuance. Unpaid invoices may result in the release of the date.

    • Jay Mumu Beauty does not hold dates without a paid retainer.

    Reschedules & Cancellations

    Due to the nature of on-location commercial work, clear notice is required.

    • All payments and retainers are final and nonrefundable.

    • Services are reserved exclusively for each production; refunds or credit transfers are not offered for cancellations or scope changes.

    • Clients may request one reschedule within 14–30 days of the original date, subject to availability.

    • After this period, a new booking and retainer will be required.

    • In the rare event Jay Mumu Beauty must cancel, a full refund will be issued or the project may reschedule at no additional cost.

    No-Show or Last-Minute Changes

    Timeliness and clarity are essential to maintaining production quality.

    • Failure to provide confirmed location access, call times, or project details by the day of service will result in cancellation without refund.

    • Changes to scope, talent, or creative direction (e.g. additional models, extended time, concept shifts) must be communicated and approved in advance.

  • Jay Mumu Beauty provides professional, on-location makeup services throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

    On-Set Requirements

    Clients are responsible for ensuring:

    • A clean, well-lit workspace

    • a flat surface or table

    • Access to a nearby power outlet

    Delays may occur if these requirements are not met upon arrival. It is the responsibility of the booking party to communicate all on-site logistics to the production team in advance.

    Jay Mumu Beauty Provides all necessary professional tools, lighting, and equipment to support a seamless setup.

    Travel Radius & Fees

    Jay Mumu Beauty is based in Irving, Texas (75061) and services the greater Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.

    A complimentary travel radius of 25 miles is included with every booking.

    Extended Travel

    Travel beyond the 25-mile radius is billed at $2 per mile (roundtrip)

    • For projects requiring extended travel, a flat out-of-area fee may apply.

    • Travel fees will be included in the final quote once project location is confirmed.

    Destination Projects

    For out-of-state or international bookings, clients are responsible for:

    • Roundtrip airfare (business class preferred for long-haul travel)

    • Ground transportation (car service or equivalent)

    • Hotel accommodations at a 5-star property near the project venue

    • Per diem for meals, if applicable

    A custom destination rate will be provided based on project scope.

    Location Changes

    Any changes to the service location must be submitted in writing via email and are subject to availability.

    If the updated location falls outside the approved travel radius or impacts setup time, an updated quote and travel fee will be issued.

  • Professional Environment

    Jay Mumu Beauty operates within professional production environments where focus collaboration, and respect are non-negotiable.

    Hygiene & Skin Conditions

    All tools and products are sanitized before and after each session.

    • Clients experiencing any contagious conditions (e.g. cold sores, pink eye, open wounds) must reschedule.

    • Service may be declined if a condition is present and undisclosed at the time of booking.

    Photography & Media Use

    Behind-the-scenes content will be captured for portfolio and marketing purposes.

    • . If a project is under NDA or embargo, this must be disclosed prior to the shoot.

    • Content will not be shared until release terms are confirmed.

    Code of Conduct & Studio Expectations

    Jay Mumu Beauty, we foster a calm, collaborative environment that supports efficient production.

    • Professional behavior is expected from all clients, talent, and team members.

    • Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

    Punctuality

    All sessions are booked with a defined prep window.

    • Please arrive on time and production-ready.

    • Late arrivals may impact the final results and do not extend booked service time.

    Team Etiquette

    If you’re working with a production team (photographer, stylist, producers), please ensure all parties are aligned on timing, expectations, and workflow prior to the shoot day.

  • Production & Booking Information

    Do you travel outside of the Dallas–Fort Worth area?

    Yes. Jay Mumu Beauty is based in Irving, Tx and is available for projects throughout Texas and for destination productions.

    A complimentary 25-mile travel radius is included with each booking, Travel beyond this radius, as well as destination project logistics, are quoted based on location and scope and included in your custom rate.

    How does the booking process work?

    All projects are booked via inquiry.

    Clients submit a project inquiry with key details including shoot date, location, duration, and production needs. Once reviewed, a custom quote is issued based on scope, travel requirements, and availability.

    A booking is confirmed once the contract is signed and the full retainer is received.

    How is my date secured?

    Dates are secured upon receipt of a non-refundable retainer equal to the full quoted project rate.

    Jay Mumu Beauty does not hold dates without payment. Retainers reserve exclusive time and availability for your production.

    Can you support multiple looks, talent, or non-set touchups?

    Yes. Multi-look projects, multiple talent, and on-set touchups are supported and should be outlined clearly in the inquiry form.

    These elements are factored into your quote to ensure appropriate time allocation and on-set support.

    Do you offer hair or wardrobe styling?

    No. Jay Mumu Beauty provides professional makeup services only.

    However, we regularly collaborate with hairstylists, wardrobe stylists, photographers, and production teams and are happy to coordinate to ensure a cohesive on-set workflow.

    What is your reschedule or cancellation policy?
